Baer’s Furniture’s Janet Graham, ASID ALLIED created the interior for the furnished, move-in ready 402 tower residence. Priced at $1,030,000, the 2,889 square foot residence offers screened and unscreened terraces totaling an additional 464 square feet. The three bedroom, three-and-a-half bath, great room plan’s kitchen includes an immense island. The great room opens to a screened terrace that includes a gas grill. Graham has created a transitional design for the 402 residence that conveys a Florida flair. A color pallet based on white and light driftwood tones plays against the home’s ceramic wood-look flooring.
To provide depth, Graham included a white geometric detail on the back wall of the elevator lobby. A three-drawer demilune cabinet finished with embossed alligator and ivory cream leather and driftwood-toned accents anchors the space. Tall lamps on the cabinet feature acrylic bases. A mirror 54-inches in diameter creates a feeling of openness. A glass teardrop chandelier looks like a weeping willow and projects light through the willow’s branches.
A transitional chest with a textured white finish is featured in the home’s foyer that includes trim wall details and an octagonally shaped mirror. Lamps with brass bases sit atop the chest. A pair of benches with a plush leather feeling flank the chest. A beautiful star-burst chandelier completes the look.
The kitchen’s Shaker-style island base and perimeter cabinetry present a light-toned finish and brushed nickel hardware. Solid grey quartz countertops offer large work surfaces. Low back barstools provide comfortable seating. Graham has fashioned a vent hood above the kitchen’s gas stove top. The finishes are paired with a backsplash in a small ivory-toned subway tile. Recessed can lighting fixtures are included throughout the kitchen.
In the dining area, a long table features a cerused and wire-brushed oak veneer sandstone finish that compliments eight chairs with stain resistant ivory-toned fabric. Two leaves can extend the table to seat fourteen people. An acrylic chandelier is positioned above the table. The buffet in the dining area’s niche is also finished in the sandstone oak veneer and includes four drawers flanked by cabinets with antiqued mirror fronts behind a geometric wood design. Two prominent art pieces are featured above the buffet.
The great room showcases a white sectional and a pair of swivel armchairs. The seating offers spectacular views of the Gulf. A table between the armchairs includes a glass top with a painted backside in modeled shades of greys and browns. A sofa table with a metal base and a glass top is placed against the short side of the sectional. The seating area is anchored by a square glass-topped cocktail table with a champagne and gold finish and a geometric second level shelf. The cocktail table stands out against an embossed, tone-on-tone ivory and white area rug. The great room also features a television console with a mirrored front accented by brass and lace buttons. Graham has also designed trim details in staggered four and seven-inch heights within the room’s tray ceiling.
An elegant sleigh bed in the owner’s bedroom includes a driftwood trimmed headboard, foot board. and side rails. Insets in the foot board are finished in a light ivory-toned fabric. The headboard and a pair of mirrors that flank the bed are framed by flat stock trim. A geometric marquetry detail and antiqued mirrored fronts bring a dramatic touch to the nightstands. The dresser is finished in a matching wood with brass nail head details.
White marble tile flooring in the owner’s bathroom features grey variations and extends to the Jacuzzi tub’s backsplash and deck. The marble also extends into the shower. Driftwood-brown vanity cabinetry is topped by a marble counter surface. Tone-on-tone wallpaper with shimmering taupes and creams brings additional elegance to the space. A champagne finished chandelier is positioned in the middle of a tray ceiling.
The great room and owner’s bedroom open to a west-facing terrace with light-toned porcelain tile set on the diagonal. Four oversized outdoor woven wicker chairs and an ottoman coffee table with light Sunbrella cushions provide a comfortable conversation area. The space also features a gas grill and a dining table that seats six.
