The three bedroom, three-and-a-half bath, great room plan’s centrally located kitchen includes an immense island. The great room opens to the screened terrace that includes a gas grill. A dining area includes a deep niche wall that can accommodate a furniture piece and art selections. Graham has created an elegant transitional design for the 402 residence that conveys a Florida flair. A color pallet based on white and light driftwood tones plays beautifully against the home’s ceramic wood-look flooring with a mixture of browns and subtle oranges.
To provide depth, Graham included a white geometric carpentry detail on the back wall of the elevator lobby. A beautiful three-drawer demilune cabinet finished with embossed alligator and ivory cream leather and driftwood-toned trim accents anchors the space. Two 36-inch tall lamps on the cabinet feature acrylic bases. A stunning mirror 54-inches in diameter makes a statement while creating a feeling of openness. A gorgeous glass teardrop chandelier looks like a weeping willow and projects light through the weeping willow’s branches.
A transitional chest with a textured white finish is featured in the home’s foyer that includes wooden trim wall details and an octagonally shaped mirror. Lamps with black shades and brass bases sit atop the chest. A pair of benches with a plush leather feeling flank the chest. A beautiful star-burst chandelier completes the look.
The kitchen’s Shaker-style island base and perimeter cabinetry present a light-toned finish and brushed nickel hardware. Solid grey quartz countertops offer large work surfaces, particularly on the counter height island. Low back barstools provide comfortable seating. Graham has fashioned a beautiful vent hood above the kitchen’s gas stove top. The finishes are paired with a backsplash in a small ivory-toned subway tile that brings a soothing feeling to the space. Recessed can lighting fixtures are included throughout the kitchen.
In the open and airy dining area, a 113-inch long table features a cerused and wire-brushed oak veneer sandstone finish that compliments eight chairs with an elegant stain resistant ivory-toned fabric. Two 20-inch leaves can extend the table to easily seat fourteen people. A substantial acrylic chandelier is positioned above the table. The buffet piece in the dining area’s niche is also finished in the sandstone oak veneer and includes four large drawers flanked by cabinets with antiqued mirror fronts behind a geometric wood design. The large drawers and the cabinets offer plenty of storage space. A pair of brass lamps with white shades and glass mid-sections that light up in a warm amber tone cast a soft, pleasing glow. Two prominent art pieces are featured above the buffet.
The huge, 20 by 40-foot great room showcases a stainless polyester white sectional and a pair of swivel armchairs in a matching fabric with nickel-plated nail head detailing on the arms. All of the seating offers spectacular views of the Gulf. A table between the armchairs includes a glass top with a painted backside in modeled shades of greys and browns and brass edging on the top and bottom. A sofa table with a metal base and a glass top is placed against the short side of the sectional and is visible from the inner foyer. The seating area is anchored by a 52-inch square glass-topped cocktail table with a champagne and gold finish and a geometric second level shelf. The cocktail table stands out beautifully against an embossed, tone on tone ivory and white area rug in a linear pattern. The great room also features an 85-inch television console with a mirrored front accented by brass and lace buttons. Two large art selections framed by trim details flank a display of four circular elements. Graham has also designed trim details in staggered four and seven-inch heights within the room’s tray ceiling to provide additional visual interest.
The owner’s bedroom features light taupe wall-to-wall carpeting. An elegant sleigh bed includes a driftwood trimmed headboard, foot board. and side rails. Insets in the foot board are finished in a light ivory-toned fabric. The headboard and a pair of mirrors that flank the bed are framed by a flat stock trim treatment. Large Euro pillows are presented in a fabric that matches the room’s window treatments. A geometric marquetry detail and antiqued mirrored fronts bring a dramatic touch to the nightstands. The dresser is finished in a matching wood with brass tack nail head details. A pair of lamps feature blown glass bases. Above the dresser, an oblong mirror with a brushed champagne finish is flanked by art pieces.
The white marble tile flooring in the owner’s bathroom features grey variations and extends to the Jacuzzi tub’s backsplash and deck. The marble also extends into the shower. Driftwood-brown vanity cabinetry is topped by a marble counter surface that is lighter than the flooring and has similar grey veining. Tone-on-tone wallpaper with shimmering taupes and creams brings additional elegance to the space. A champagne finished chandelier is positioned in the middle of a tray ceiling.
The great room and owner’s bedroom open to a west-facing terrace with light-toned porcelain tile set on the diagonal. Four oversized outdoor woven wicker chairs and an ottoman coffee table with light Sunbrella cushions provide a comfortable conversation area. The space also features a gas grill and a dining table that seats six.
